What is IDDSI?
The International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) provides a common terminology to describe food textures and drink thickness.

“I work as a Speech and Language therapist in a neuro rehabilitation unit where we often have patients presenting with complex long-term swallowing problems.
I introduced the Simply Puree range to the unit as I had been so impressed with the quality of the texture and taste of the food in my previous position at a Spinal Injuries Centre. The very high standard of the product was a significant contributory factor in the successful rehabilitation of swallowing in patients returning them to oral feeding from tube feeding regimes.
A huge tick box in the quality of life for these patients to be able to eat and drink again.”
